Basics about the project
Mitt namn är Lovisa Lindegren och studerar till socionom med internationell inriktning vid Mittuniversitetet i Östersund. Just nu är jag inne på min tredje termin vilket innebär praktik. Jag valde att förlägga den utomlands i en stad som heter Kisoro i Uganda, Afrika. Jag gör min praktik via en liten organisation som heter Mwambike foundation vilka arbetar för att stödja utsatta barn i Uganda. Praktiken sträcker sig över 15 veckor och jag är nu inne på den sjunde. Under min tid här i Uganda har jag fått en bättre inblick i de många svårigheter detta land står inför och anser att bristen på tillgång till rent vatten är ett av de mest allvarliga och akuta problem denna stad står inför. Efter att ha kommunicerat med min handledare Denis Agaba om detta problem samt om alla de svårigheter vilka följer bristen på rent vatten valde jag med hjälp av Denis att starta en insamling. En insamling till vattentankar vilka ska bli placerade på lämpliga platser runt om i staden dit alla de som annars inte har möjlighet att hämta rent vatten någonstans kan gå och hämta gratis rent vatten.
Här kommer jag att ge er all den information som rör insamlingen, bland annat mer kring de familjer vars tillvara skulle underlättas väsentligt av en vattentank i deras område, information om hur dessa vattentankar fungerar, kostnaderna, platserna där vattentankarna kommer placeras ut och all annan information som rör detta projekt.

My name is Lovisa Lindegren and is studying to become a social worker with an international focus at Mid Sweden University in Östersund. Right now I am into my third semester which means practice. I chose to place it abroad in a town called Kisoro in Uganda , Africa. I am doing my internship through a small organization called Mwambike foundation which works to support vulnerable children in Uganda. The practice extends over 15 weeks and I am now in the seventh. During my time here in Uganda , I have gained a better insight into the many problems this country faces and that a lack of access to clean water is one of the most serious and immediate problems this city is facing. After having communicated with my supervisor Denis Agaba about this problem as well as any difficulties that follow the lack of clean water , I decided with the help of Denis to start a collection . A collection of water tanks which will be placed at appropriate locations around the city where all those who would otherwise not have the opportunity to retrieve clean water anywhere can go and get free clean water.
Here I will give you all the information regarding the collection , including more about the families whose advantage would be greatly facilitated by a water tank in their area, information on how these water tanks works , the cost , the places where the water tanks will be deployed and all other information concerning this project .
